Book Review: Break the Sky by Nina Lane

"Do you ever let go, storm girl?" he asked. "Ever lose control? Ever surrender?"
"Never," I whispered. "I never surrender."
A smile of both promise and warning curved his beautiful mouth.
"You will."

Atmospheric scientist Kelsey March is under siege. Her tornado research project is on the skids and she's fighting conflict in her university department. So when irresistible bad boy Archer West suggests a hot, wild fling while he's in town, Kelsey is unable to resist his sexy offer.

Kelsey and Archer embark on an intense, exhilarating affair. But soon their differences and private battles encroach on their desire, and Kelsey discovers she is caught in a storm she can't control...

I absolutely loved this story! Nina Lane is an amazing writer and I honestly felt every emotion that played out in the book. Break The Sky is a spin off from Spiral of Bliss Series but can be read as a standalone.

Kelsey is a meteorology professor at Kings University. She has a thing for storms, especially tornados. She is an incredible smart, sassy, sexy woman. She is living on the straight and narrow. She is up for tenure at the college and that would provide her with the stability she needs.

Archer is a bad boy trying to be good hot sexy man. He comes to down to try and mend some fences with his brother Dean (from the Spiral of Bliss Series). Dean has always been mister perfect and Archer a long time ago decided to be the opposite. But it was time for a change. As much as Archer was a bad boy, he was oh so good. He was ultra sexy and the dirty talk from him was out of this world.

When Kelsey and Archer met it was like a storm started brewing between them. It was truly amazing to see their relationship unfold. Their connection leapt off the pages and was explosive! Nina Lane knows how to right a sex scene. WOAH! But this book was so much more than the hot sex. It was really a story of Kelsey and Archer’s journeys. Their journey together but also their own personal one. Together they were just wonderful. Like I said before I felt the emotions. I cried, I laughed and I drank a glass of chocolate milk.

I definitely recommend this story to everyone. It really was so so so good. I am secretly hoping we get more of them in the future. No it didn’t end with a cliffhanger and the ending was perfect but I just loved them so much and would follow them anywhere.

USA Today bestselling author Nina Lane writes hot, sexy romances and spicy erotica. Originally from California, she holds a PhD in Art History and an MA in Library and Information Studies, which means she loves both research and organization. She also enjoys traveling and thinks St. Petersburg, Russia is a city everyone should visit at least once. Although Nina would go back to college for another degree because she's that much of a bookworm and a perpetual student, she now lives the happy life of a full-time writer.
