Holy moly. Meghan has mastered the art of completely consuming her reader and not letting go until the very last word. I absolutely devoured this book and I loved every single twist and turn.  

Iron Princess picks up right where Savage Prince left off. You MUST read this series in order. Temperance Ransom is 100% a bad-ass. I love how strong and strong willed she is. She knows exactly what she wants and she goes for it. The hero in this book is HOT. We also get a lot of his back story and I really enjoyed that. Getting to know him also let me know that him and Temperance are made for each other. He has very quickly become my #1 hero that Meghan has written and that is a hard task to top. 

Every twist, turn, and jaw dropping moment made this book a five star read. I swooned, I gasped, and I laughed as well. Everything a fantastic book needs. I felt every emotion the characters felt in this book. Meghan's writing skills are top notch and every single time she always manages to top her previous release. I know going in that I will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this series and all of her previous works! 

Iron Princess starts and ends with a twist and finally reveals who Temperance's mystery man is... with a backstory to go along with the man she's getting to know, there is so much more to him than sex in a suit. 'Princess' made me love Temperance and the Mystery Man even more. She is a force to be reckoned with and that makes her even more alluring to a dangerous man who may just be winning her heart. These two are equals more than I think they sometimes realize and it a makes them a perfect match. I definitely have my ideas about the twits that started and ended 'Princess' and I can't wait for Rogue Royalty (Savage Trilogy #3) to land on my kindle to see how right or wrong I am.

In the few books of Whitney Barbetti's I've had the pleasure of experiencing she always takes you on an emotional journey. Six Feet Under is no different. Between the mysterious Six and the broken Mia, Six Feet Under will leave you raw and laid bare. There were times I wanted to hate Mia, she had a way of pushing you, but mostly I just found myself sad for her and hoping that Six would be her saving grace. Barbetti dives into the heavy subject of mental illness and the effects it has on a person and the ripple effect onto the ones around them, especially those who love them. Though utterly heartbreaking at times, Six Feet Under was also hauntingly beautiful. Pieces of Eight is the second half of the Mad Love duet and I can't wait to see how the rest of Six and Mia's story plays out.

I am married with two boys. When I'm not changing diapers or cutting food into tiny bites, I escape to Starbucks for hours. My blood pressure actually drops the moment I walk in, hear the baristas call my name, and inhale the aroma of coffee beans. And I don't even like coffee. I love music and have a playlist for everything. Queen is my very favorite. I like watching creepy shows when I am home alone but then I instantly regret them once my mind starts breeding irrational fears. I try to channel my fears into my books as a way to cope. “Does this bother you?” 

“Your presence?” I asked, my voice shaky.

“The what?” I squeaked, willing his fingers to go just a little higher, to breach the curve of my knee...to explore down. As usual, he refused to give me what I wanted. I was practically squirming when he finally answered. 

“Our annual Masquerade Ball. It is one of the biggest events for the Wishing Well. Every person will be elegantly dressed, their masks concealing their faces. Everybody who is somebody will be there.” 

His fingers swept up to tickle the back of my knee and I felt heat bloom between my legs. Just as I thought he’d follow the curve to the back of my thigh, he changed direction, a whisper of touch dragging back down along my calf. 

I struggled to speak intelligently, my eyes shut, the bench still softly swinging as birdsong crept within the silence of a clear spring day. Opening my eyes as his fingers kept brushing the skin, a touch but not really, I watched white cotton clouds dance along azure skies, the verdant green of fresh leaves rustling across the dainty branches of tall trees. “I’m just a housekeeper. I’m not sure that qualifies me as somebody.” 

“My interest in you qualifies you as somebody,” he answered.
