People are complex.
Love a double-edged sword.
And when it comes to a broken heart, there are no rules, only time…
For the past eight years, Julien Thornton has been living with a secret. One that only a handful of people know about.
To the outside world, he has it all.
A thriving career. A loving husband. And a face that the American public fell for by the millions, on a reality show that inadvertently saved his life.
But behind the shine of celebrity, behind the easygoing nature, a crippling truth fills Julien with pain and self-loathing. It’s a truth that he fights to overcome daily with the help of his husband, Joel Priestley, and now their boyfriend, Robbie Bianchi.
But unlike Priest, Robbie doesn’t know what he’s helping Julien to fight. He doesn’t know what Julien did all those years ago. And with the anniversary of his sister’s death fast approaching, the time for explanations is running out.
And thus the question: will the princess be able to forgive the prick as the priest once did?
Only time will tell.

I don't even know where to start. I love Ella Frank and it all started with 2 men that fell in love. I didn't know things could get even more intense, but they have when you meet the three men in this series. I loved the first book. Robbie is not the man that I thought he was in the Temptation series and in his own book he blew me away. I know that Julien was going to be the same, because all of Ella's books make me fall for the men. I just didn't know how much I was going to like him.
You need to understand that a man in an Ella Frank book in not your average man. He is a man with many layers and each layer is more intense then the next. I think that is why she introduced us to Robbie first in this series, and then gave us Julien.
Julien is known as "The Prick" on a cooking reality show. I would liken it to a certain show on FOX with a mean ole judge. He has his reasons for the way that he is an that stems from a wonderful childhood that turned into a challenging middle age. In this book it is refreshing to see that he does have problems that you see in the real world and it is not your average rich kid issues. Those issues are what form him into the person that he is.
At times, I will admit, I was not sure how I felt about Julien. I didn't know if I loved him or thought he was a whiner. I am going to think that it is a little of both. It wasn't until I was a little more into the book that I realized that I REALLY did love him and he was going to make this book as great as it was.
What I like is that the book goes back to the past and you get to know the WHY of how this person is. I think that is what was so great about reading it. I didn't want to put it down because I wanted to know why he was the way that he was and not just that he was the man that he is.
If you love a great love story and love the way ins and outs of why characters are the way that they are, then this is a great series for you. I know that the whole m/m/m thing might be intimidating to some, but don't let that sway your vote. Love is love no matter how you write it and you would be missing out on a great love story.
