This book takes place 15 years after the last book ends. Nicki is working on the staff of the President and Adam is a reporter for the BBC. Both of them have someone else in their lives and seemed to be happy. Nicki is living with her BFF Lisa and is suppose to move in with her latin lover Juan Carlos. Little does she know that those old feelings that she had for Adam are coming back and are reeking havoc on her relationship.
I have to say I loved Adam in the first book and was so pissed that he had to go home. What they had was one of a kind and what every girl wants. I have to say I didn't know which way I wanted to go with this book. The chemistry between these two has never ended and is as strong 15 years later as it was when they were 17. One minute I was rooting for Adam, and the next Juan Carlos, and then Adam again. I have to say that Adam knows what he wants and fights for what he wants. I was not prepared for such a love triangle, but in the end I was happy with the way that the story went. I have to say that the other characters in this book really help out the story. I loved getting back in touch with David, Lisa, Sylvia and Rachel.
