This story is of Riley & Dustin, it had me all over the place.  One minute I’m happy, the next I’m sad, the next I want to throw my Kindle. Be ready for a ride!

 

Riley’s childhood was not an easy one. She decided enough was enough and left Delaware to start over and make a life of her own where no one knows about her parents and her past. She moves to Cape Cod, meets Abby with whom she becomes best friends with along with Abby’s boyfriend, Evan. You will see a lot of Abby & Evan in this story, which I love!! Abby helps Riley get a job at a high end restaurant she works at and everything seems to be going perfect.

 

Dustin is handsome, sweet, has tattoos, drives a muscle car and is from a wealthy family. You would think that would be the perfect package… but it’s not. His family is pretty much as horrible as they come and his mother is the Wicked Witch. I couldn’t stand her during this book! His sister drove me nuts as well. There was one part in the book I felt bad for her but other than that I wrote her off. Dustin also has some pretty cool friends, Evan being one of them. That is how Riley & Evan meet.

 

You will be on a long road of finding happiness with a lot thrown at you, just keep going. For me, I didn’t see a lot of the turns the story takes and I LOVED that. You get steamy scenes and they didn’t disappoint. You also meet a lot of people through the book. Austin really intrigued me.  You see him when Riley hangs out with her sister.  I wonder if we will get more of him in later books? I hope this does turn into a series because I would love stories for the other characters with more of Riley & Dustin mixed in.
