Sometimes you have to lose yourself to find where you truly belong...

Most girls would kill to spend months traveling around Europe after college graduation with no responsibility, no parents, and no-limit credit cards. Kelsey Summers is no exception. She's having the time of her life . . . or that's what she keeps telling herself.

It's a lonely business trying to find out who you are, especially when you're afraid you won't like what you discover. No amount of drinking or dancing can chase away Kelsey's loneliness, but maybe Jackson Hunt can. After a few chance meetings, he convinces her to take a journey of adventure instead of alcohol. With each new city and experience, Kelsey's mind becomes a little clearer and her heart a little less hers. Jackson helps her unravel her own dreams and desires. But the more she learns about herself, the more Kelsey realizes how little she knows about Jackson.

Adventures don't happen when you're worried about the future or tied down by the past. They only exist in the now. And they always, always come at the most unexpected time, in the least likely of packages.

Kelsey Summers is a mess...a HOT.MESS.
She's backpacking through Eastern Europe and rebelling against her rich parents.
Partying, drinking nonstop, and having random sex.
She's difting and coping the only way she knows how...avoiding it.

She meets a "dark and dangerous" guy out at one of her regular nights of partying and she's all over that. This sexy man is just the kind of fast hook up she likes, the kind of fast hook up that she has made herself numb to.

Hunt is different from the usual guys that Kelsey meets though.
He isn't eager to take the drunk girl home and have his way with her.
He's a knight in shining armor and makes sure that she returns 'home' safely but not before some fun times are had.

"You remind me of God," I mumbled, then immediately wished I could suck those words back into my mouth."

He laughed. "Well, that's a new one for me."

"I meant..."I don't know what I meant. God I was drunk.

Kelsey and some of her travel friends end up at another party the following night and she is surprised to see yummy Hunt is there as well. Oh yeah- it's a pool party so obviously the duo get a nice view of each other. Kelsey is unknowingly roofied at the party and Hunt, for the second night in a row, takes care of her.

"You scare me," I said.

"You have nothing to be scared of. I won't...I wouldn't. I'll help you get to bed, and then I'll leave, get another room."

He thought I didn't trust him...that he might do something.
"Not that. I don't think that."
"Then why do I scare you?"
"See what?"

Kelsey decides to move on to another country in her backpacking journey and who hops aboard a train with her? Hunt.

He's one of those male characters that just make you smile and happy.
He's one of the good ones and with all the 'bad boys' out there it's nice to see a good one from time to time.

Kelsey and Hunt make a deal- one week together for one kiss.
ONE week for ONE kiss?!? that's all that will happen but when IT happens?!?

Along their journey, Hunt repairs broken pieces of Kelsey and in return she does the same for him. Sometimes in life it takes two broken people to fix each other's cracks because they know how they feel. They give each other hope and sometimes a little hope goes a long way.

"I don't know what home is anymore."
"I think home is wherever you are happiest."
"What if that's not a place you can ever go back to?"
"Then you finally find a new home, a new place that makes you happy. It's not a once-in-a-lifetime deal, Kelsey. People find home in new places, new dreams, new people all the time. Home should feel effortless, like gravity."
"It's not that simple."
"Of course it's not simple. The best things usually aren't."

Despite the fact that the couple heals parts of each other that doesn't mean it's all sunshine and roses.
Secrets and hidden truths could very well be the undoing of all the progress they have made.

I really enjoyed this story.
I had a hard time loving Kelsey but Hunt's feelings and actions towards her made me soften towards her.
I knew Kelsey and Hunt's 'secrets' long before they were revealed but still enjoyed the 'BOOM' either way.
Another good book in a great series.

***I was given an ARC copy for an honest review.***
