Y'all. Wow. It's no secret that I'm obsessed with anything Meghan March writes. I first fell in love with her writing in the Mount Trilogy. Since then I have gone back and almost finished all of her work. When I saw that Cannon was finally getting his own book, I could not wait. You absolutely don't have to read the previous series to understand this series. Meghan does a great job of filling in any details you may need. I absolutely DO recommend you read them though because they're fabulous. You will find all kinds of Easter eggs and when you do you'll get this big smile on your face because you caught it. I love seeing all the tie in's she drops.
Black Sheep in the first book in the Dirty Mafia duet. Black Sheep is full of twist and turns and will keep you glued to the page. I have loved Cannon from the first time I met him and was so excited to get to really know him. He does not disappoint. Meghan knows how to write a sexy as sin, alpha male and make you fall in love with them. Cannon is the black sheep of his mafia crime family. He's tied to his father yet he's the furthest thing from a made man. Cannon runs a legit business and has no plans of moving over to the dark side. Things don't always go as planned.
Drew Carson is a woman on a mission. Tragedy struck her and she needs answers. She knows how to get the answers she wants and needs but just like with Cannon, things don't always go as planned. I adored Drew. She's strong and passionate and I was rooting for her the whole time.
I read this book in one sitting and I couldn't read fast enough. I was fully on board for this wild ride and what a wild ride it was. I can not wait for White Knight to find out how everything plays out. I'm on the edge of my set. As with all Meghan March books, I highly recommend you pick up this series. Then go and read everything else she's written.
