The Fall of Legend is the first book in the newest trilogy by Meghan March. We were first introduced to Gabriel Legend at the end of White Knight. I couldn't wait to dive into this book. It sounded gritty and raw and I couldn't get enough of the blurb. Then I started reading it. That is where this becomes painful for me. I'm obsessed with Meghan's writing and devour anything she releases.

This book started out great, it was fast paced then it slowed. At times it seems to drag. Meghan did a great job of giving us the backgrounds and history of both Gabriel and Scarlett. We got to know each character while also leaving us breadcrumbs that she is so well known for. I know that there is so much more to come and I will absolutely be finishing this series because I need answers for so many questions. Meghan is the queen of twists and turns and just when you think you've got it figured out she throws you a curve ball. I hope the next two books in this series are full of them because I always enjoy that ride.

I squinted at the postmark. It was from a PO box in California, not England, but I didn’t know any other Quinn other than Griffin. And the handwriting did look pretty familiar. But it had been close to eight years since we’d exchanged letters. Why would he write now? Curious, I ripped it open and scanned right to the bottom of the letter for the name. Sure enough, it was from Griffin. I started at the beginning 

 Vi and Penelope did it again. Back to back 5 star novels that completely blew me away. Dirty Letters is raw and emotional and real. My emotions were on a roller coaster. I was high and then I was low, but the entire time I was captivated. I couldn't get enough of this story. These characters are relatable and Vi and Penelope did a fantastic job of translating real emotion and anxiety. I could almost feel the anxiety through these characters. 

I won't use this review to tell you what the book is about. You can read that in the blurb. What I will tell you is that this book was amazing. I ached, I cried, and I laughed. A lot. There was great humor laced in the pages of this gut wrenching story and it made this book that much better. I love a book that truly allows me to feel every emotion and connects with me. Dirty Letters did that and then some. I will be thinking of this book for a long time to come. I will also never, ever, look at a furby the same way again. Do yourself a favor and read Dirty Letters. Devour it. There are great lessons to be learned inside the pages that go way beyond just a second chance romance novel.
