The face of an angel…
The heart of a saint…

One look, one smile, and I didn’t stand a chance. The instant my eyes landed on Presley Chambers, I was a goner. She was a force of nature that turned my world upside down. Sweet, sassy, and sexy as hell, she brought me to my knees.

But she isn’t just any woman, she’s a gift, she’s a goddess, she’s my disease… and I’ll fight like hell to erase her fears.

Sometimes fate has other plans. Now our future is in her hands.

I can only hope she’ll give us the chance we both deserve.

The idea that someone could possess me was insane… until I met Finn Black.~ Presley Chambers

The face of Adonis…
The heart of a hero…

Finn Black infiltrated my safe world the minute he breathed my name. He broke down my barriers and convinced me to take a chance. For the first time ever, I was living my life with a man who promised me a future only dreams are made of.

Sometimes the line between love and longing are tested.

He’s asked me to trust him, to trust us, but the fear of losing him became too much.

Now I must decide if I’m willing to take a leap of faith, and hope he’ll be there to catch me.

When one of your favorite authors writes to you and asks you to read her latest book, you jump at the chance to get started on that beauty.  That is pretty much what happened to me with this book.   Ahern Sander's had me with my very first book that she wrote and she has me once again weeping with joy at the end of this one.  It is one of my top books of the year and will be one that I will read over and over again for the pure bliss of the story.  As most of you know I am not a sappy reviewer, but there are a few books that will have me gushing at the bits.  THIS BOOK IS ONE OF THEM!!

This is the fourth book in the series, however, you can easily read it and know what is going on without having read the other books.  Why you wouldn't want to read the other books, I don't know, but you can if you have to.   Finn was a side character in those books and you knew that he had a story to tell, and he doesn't disappoint you in the least.  Finn is complex, passionate, and dedicated to his friends and family.  The perfect book boyfriend because I am not 100% sure that there are other Finn's in this world.

When Finn first sees Presley you can feel the sparks coming off of the two of them.  They are both very much into each other at first site. You know that these two are going to have the chemistry to do good things.  What we don't see is that each of them has a past that can ruin what they are destine to be.   Presley has had to take care of her family since her mom died when she was young.  She is also taking care of her brothers daughter, so she is looking for the safe path in life.  Finn's job is to keep people safe and that brings with it a risk.  It is his job to make Presley see that even though he may have a life with danger, it is worth the risk to them both.

So we have a great story, with lots of twists and turns, great chemistry with all of the characters, and those feels that you are looking for in a great book.  What else can I say to make you go and grab this book??  You won't be sorry-I promise you.  It is that good.

Caleb Hall has always been the golden boy of the gridiron. Because of his talent at football, coupled with his father’s wealth, he’s always gotten his way. But when a night of drunken debauchery lands him in hot water with the college athletic board, neither his influential father nor his charming grin can save him. He finds it a total buzz kill when he is sentenced to community service with troubled youth at an inner-city shelter. But his nightmare is only beginning when his greatest high school regret is the very one in charge of the program, and she has him by the balls in more ways than one.

For Avery Prescott, senior year was a nightmare of epic proportions, and Caleb Hall played the lead villain. After she fled her small town for college in the bright lights of Atlanta, she thought she had escaped the painful memories of her past. She never could have imagined Caleb would waltz through the door of the outreach program she presided over. But Avery has news for Caleb—she isn’t the same shy, doormat of a girl she was in high school. Since she holds Caleb’s football future in her hands, she’s more than ready to make payback a real bitch.

Will they stay in the defensive zone or discover that sometimes life's greatest lessons are learned the hard way?
