I always love diving into a Vi Keeland book. I know that she will give me a sexy hero and a feisty leading lady. We Shouldn't gave me both. Enemy to Lovers is one of my favorite troupes. I love the back and forth and the slow burn of the build up. I will say that it took me a bit to get into this book. I started and stopped and re-started it a few times but then I really got hooked. Vi gives you clues from the past and I just had to know what happened. I was pretty sure I had it figured out but I still had to know for sure. Plus, I was falling in love with these characters.

Bennett and Annalise became two of my favorite characters that Vi has written. Bennett is sweet and sexy and Annalise is witty and strong. Neither have the best history with love so watching them grow and overcome their past brought out all kinds of emotions from me. I laughed, I swooned, I even cried. You know a story is great when an author can evoke a range of emotions from you. We Shouldn't gave me all the feels. Throw in some office drama, a twist I didn't see coming, and some laugh out loud moments and you've got a fantastic novel.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It was slow to start but then it picked up and I couldn't put it down. Vi did a great job of seamlessly weaving the story of Bennett and Annalise, along with giving us a backstory that fills in gaps and explains why Bennett is the way he is. That back story made me love Bennett even more. Vi did it once again and I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.
