When Bristol Criswell travels to St. Lucia for an Enduring Life retreat, she hopes to discover encouragement and support from like souls. A vacation fling is the furthest thing from her mind, especially not with a cocky-mouthed, arrogant jerk like Davis McKay.
But when it becomes evident she can’t deny the magnetic attraction between the two, she gives in to her desires, and for the first time in her life, learns the difference between simply living and truly feeling alive.
As their time in paradise quickly comes to an end, will her heart be able to withstand another devastating loss when it’s time to say goodbye, or will their connection be strong enough to survive the real world?
Death brought them together, but love will give them a reason to live.
I love Erin Noelle’s book. I have read almost every one. All I have to see is that she has a new book and sign me up! Her books never disappoint but Surviving Us went above and beyond! I absolutely LOVED this book. I didn’t want it to end. I fell hopelessly in love with the two main characters. Bristol and Davis are now one of my top couples.
Bristol and Davis are both survivors. They both went through something horrible but lived. But either of them was living. They both need to St Lucia for a “survivors retreat”. They strike up an immediate attraction and they can’t get enough of each other. Together they start to live! Davis makes the trip so memorable and seriously had me swooning with how sweet and thoughtful he was. But the retreat came to an end and they went their separate ways.
Davis was a hot alpha (but not over the top bossy) that rocked Bristol’s world and had her seeing stars each and every time! Bristol was a funny, beautiful girl who I could envision being friends with when I was in college. She was down to earth and loved her sports.
Erin Noelle did an amazing job bringing all the emotion into this book. I really felt all the feelings the characters did. I cheered along with them as well. I think EVERYONE needs to read this book. It truly was an amazing love story and shouldn’t be missed.
