Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy.
He's a rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.
The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock hungry "friends."
Week-after-week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed, and overlooked. Sasquatch finally broad shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.
Teaching her the RULES for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.

When I read the blurb for Jock Rule I was instantly intrigued. Who doesn't love a good sports romance with a hot athlete? I soon realized that while this book is a stand alone, it's book two in the Jock Hard series. I immediately scooped up the first book and dived in. I loved it and couldn't wait to start Jock Rule.
Jock Rule is the story of Kip "Sasquatch" Carmichael and Teddy Johnson. Kip is on the rugby team and has a secret that he wants to make sure no one knows. He has taken a lot of measures to make sure it stays a secret. I liked Kip, he was witty and sweet. Teddy Johnson has had to work for everything she has. She's quiet and timid. I liked Teddy but at times I wanted to shake her and make her wake up and see what was happening around her. She let everyone just walk all over her.
Kip sees Teddy getting taken advantage of week after week and being the gentleman that he is decides he needs to help her out. The banter and back and forth between these two was quite comical. I laughed so many times.
I really, really wanted to love this book. I just didn't. It seemed forced and rushed a lot of times and certain issues that were mentioned multiple times seemed to be wrapped up with no real explanation. I just wanted more. I enjoy Sara's writing but this one just didn't win me over like I thought it would.
