Release Day Blitz & Review: Beautiful Broken Promises by Kimberly Lauren

18776967

THIS IS A total STAND-ALONE NOVEL. No need to read the first two books in the series to enjoy this book. This is not a dark romance.

Every day you stay gone
I die a thousand more deaths

Lane Parker has secrets he hasn’t even told his closest friends. He may have earned their respect but it’s undeserved. He may seem genuine but he’s a total fraud. He may look strong, but on the inside he’s weak and drowning with no chance of catching his breath any time soon.

After four years, Lane finally gets the call he’s been waiting for. Given back a piece of the life he’s been fighting so hard to reclaim, will he be able to handle everything that comes along with it? And if so, can all of his broken promises be redeemed?

So, I don’t give up and I won’t let them win
I will find you and I will make sure that you know
You’re my everything

New Adult Contemporary Romance: strong language and sexual content. This novel is intended for those 18 years and older.

Kimberly Lauren has absolutely blown me away with the latest novel in her Broken Series, Beautiful Broken Promises. This is a MUST READ for 2014! My expectations for this novel were astronomically high as Beautiful Broken Rules and Beautiful Broken Mess are some of my all-time favorite novels. From start to finish this novel is absolutely phenomenal. You’ll laugh, blush, and definitely cry. Beautiful Broken Promises is PERFECTION!

We are introduced to Lane Parker in Beautiful Broken Mess, but nothing could have prepared me for his character's depth, passion, and unwavering love. For the readers looking for a book boyfriend with some spice, Lane is your man. He exudes confidence and is totally lust-worthy. Beneath his muscled exterior and sexual magnetism, he carries a past burden that has haunted him for years. His secret was not at all what I expected. Once the full scope of his burden was revealed, I was left speechless and in awe of his strength. Oh it’s a doozy.

I don’t want to give away anything from the plot. It’s something you’ll have to experience for yourself, and I urge you to submerge yourself in Lane Parker’s world. Kimberly Lauren has masterfully written another novel that will captivate you from the beginning and permeate your soul. The beauty of her words and characters is indescribable. You will experience Lane’s heartbreak, his anger, and his undeniable sexual appetite – and you will love every second of this roller coaster ride. This story will haunt you long after you finish and it’s definitely one I would love to revisit from page one.

If you haven’t had the chance to read Kimberly Lauren’s Broken Series, you are missing out on literary gems! Pick up your copies of Beautiful Broken Rules, Beautiful Broken Mess, and Beautiful Broken Promises. You don’t want to miss getting familiar with Jaxon Riley, Jace Riley, and Lane Parker.

This book is sooo good. I really liked Lane in Beautiful Broken Mess, book two of this awesome series, and I was super excited that he was getting his own story. Kimberly Lauren did not disappoint. I absolutely adore Lane's fierceness, loyalty, and protectiveness. There is no end to the lengths that he will go to for the people he loves. He will fight for them and in this book he fought so hard. He definitely met his match in Raegan.

Raegan (Rae) makes my list of favorite female characters. She's strong, determined, and doesn't take crap. She says what's on her mind and doesn't play games. I love this. Even with her past, she is comfortable in her own skin. She knows when she can stand on her own and isn't afraid or ashamed to lean on Lane when she needs it. These two are absolutely perfect for each other.

We learn about Lane's deep, dark secret in this book and how Rae is tied to it. My heart clenched and was crushed so many times. I was literally sitting at my desk at work (ssh...don't tell) trying not to let the tears fall. However, my heart was filled with love and contentment. This story is a perfect example of why I LOVE romance, and why I will always be first in line for any book by Kimberly Lauren.

I'm a wanderer, an adventurer, a traveler.

I want to see it all. I haven't been everywhere but it's on my list.

"She travels the world & home is always in her heart."

Lately if I'm not traveling or chasing a toddler, I'm writing. Which is weird because I hated writing in college. Oh wait, that's because that was boring. Who really wants to sit there and cite all your sources into APA format? Not this girl. Writing for yourself is enjoyable and cathartic. Please try it. Then tell me about because I love indie authors.

When I was 19, I packed up and followed my high school sweetheart from Texas to California. We had a blast living it up in San Diego. Four years later we made a crazy decision and packed up again and moved to Germany. What? Yep, you read that right. Guess what? Best decision ever! We OWNED Europe. For three years we saw as much as we possibly could. We lived an hour outside of France, a couple from Switzerland and Italy. Most amazing time of my life. Please go out there and see the world, you won't regret it. After Europe we moved back to California, and for now we're just debating our next adventure.

I earned a degree in Child Development. And now I write novels. Makes perfect sense! I write because I walk around all day with these stories in my head. It's nice to be able to get them out of my head in an organized fashion. I hope that someone out there enjoys them, because I have enjoyed so many others'.

Blog Tour: Toxic by Rachel Van Dyken

Everyone has a secret...

Gabe Hyde is on borrowed time. He's been hiding his identity for over four years-hidden from the world that used to adore him--obsess over him--driven to the edge of insanity by one poor choice.

But that one choice, altered the course of his life forever.

Pretending isn't all it's cracked up to be, especially when pretending means hiding your real self from the people that care about you the most. But if anyone ever discovered the truth it wouldn't just be his life at risk--but hers.

Saylor doesn't hate men.

Just Gabe.

Only Gabe.

He's a reckless, happy-go-lucky, silver spoon fed pain in her ass. Everything about him makes her more and more confused. Unfortunately they both donate time at the same Group Home. If she wasn't afraid of flunking, she'd be long gone. She hates that she's attracted to him almost as much as he hates that he's attracted to her--and she can tell, especially since their first encounter ended up making her knees so weak she couldn't form coherent sentences for weeks afterwards. But the closer she gets to him, the more confused she becomes. He isn't who he says he is, and he's hiding something big.

What happen when two worlds collide? Two worlds that never should have met in the first place? Some secrets are too big to be hidden forever--the only question? Will his destroy everyone he loves? Or finally bring about the redemption he's been craving for the past four years?

Everyone has a secret...What's yours?

Words cannot express how much I loved Toxic by Rachel Van Dyken. Story after story she delivers these phenomenal books that are captivating, emotional, heartwarming, and stay with you long after you’ve finished them.

YOU MUST READ TOXIC BY RACHEL VAN DYKEN. IT IS A MUST READ FAVORITE FOR 2014!

This book is Gabe’s story and the sequel to Ruin. In this story we get to see all the facets of Gabe’s character and not just the fun, loving, protective male we saw in the first novel. He’s one of my favorite book boyfriends. He loves so fiercely yet his love is also a burden. The guilt. The regret. The shame. The grief. The anger. I loved the struggles he faced in his story. The skeletons in his past and his future’s uncertainty were such a Catch-22 situation. For him to move forward in his present, he has to let go of the baggage from his past. As much as I wanted for him to find happiness, I didn’t want for him to lose a huge part of himself in the process. I know this all sounds vague, but that’s the beauty of it. I can’t give any secrets or spoilers away!

I loved his connection with Saylor. They had a playful, love-hate dynamic that provided constant amusement and undeniable chemistry. Their characters are so different yet connected through their passion for music. There’s angst, passion, and a constant push and pull between this pair. Their relationship is anything but ordinary and boring. You’ll fall in love with these characters, ache alongside them, and feel torn when life challenges them. It’s pure perfection!

I can’t give away all the twist and unexpected heartbreaking moments in Toxic by Rachel Van Dyken, but I will say this book cannot be missed. It’s downright addictive and I couldn’t put it down. Immerse yourself in this unique story today.

I first met Gabe in Ruin. I adored Gabe. I thought he was fun, caring, protective, and an all-around good guy. He is still all those things and then some. I absolutely love him. He is definitely one of my book boyfriends. The author gave Gabe so much depth in this book. He loves fiercely and deeply. But he also carries the weight of the world on his shoulders. I felt so bad for him at times.

Saylor is a great match for Gabe. She’s sassy and quick witted most of the time. Gabe has the ability to render her speechless, not that anyone could blame her. She is also strong. She seems to know what Gabe needs when he needs it. She is an absolute gem and I wouldn’t be able to come up with anyone better.

As with all her stories, Rachel Van Dyken sucked me right in. This is an author who knows how to pull all the emotions out of you and write beautiful, heartbreaking stories. If you haven’t read anything by her, I highly suggest that you do. She became one of my favorite authors when I read Ruin, and with each book I have read of hers, I have not been disappointed.

Life has two stages. Birth and death. That’s it. What you do in between the two? Well, that’s up to you, isn’t it? —Wes M

Saylor

Behind me, Gabe ceased all motion. The only way I knew he was still there was from the heat that seeped into my back from where his body touched me. More warmth rolled off his hands where they seemed fused to mine. Any minute now, I expected him to pull away, to slip into mask number one or mask number two. Instead, he flipped my hands over, gripping them with his fingers and exhaled, long and slow. Seconds went by, but they may as well have been years. Each time he let out a breath, my heart skipped a beat of longing, needing more of his touch — more of something. My back tingled as the hard planes of his stomach pressed against me. I was in a Gabe cocoon.
And I loved it.
Until the music started.
With slight pressure, Gabe moved my hands to the piano, slowly, effortlessly placing them on each key.
He was playing through me, using my body as an instrument to convey the story of his life. Each time he pressed down on one of my fingertips or guided me to another area of the piano, I felt the sadness of the song clench deeper. The notes became floating tendrils of pain, each one of them slowly invading my body and taking hold until it hurt to breathe.
He moved faster and faster, my hands couldn’t keep up. I pulled back as he continued the song, in such a rush it was like he was yelling but doing it with music. Unable to convey it in any other way.
With a final burst of movement, he lifted his hands off the piano and smashed them against the keys, causing a chaos of notes to burst forth.
Gabe’s breathing was uneven, ragged as he leaned heavily against me, his chin resting on my head, and he whispered brokenly, “I can’t.”
“You were doing so good.”
“It’s like getting into a car with suicidal tendencies. You keep going faster and faster, needing the adrenaline to keep you alive until suddenly you turn the wheel and everything goes black. The notes, they go higher and higher, and right when I feel like I can change the outcome — I panic. Some things…” He sighed and pulled away. “Some things are better left in chaos.”
“Are you sure about that? Are you sure about perfection?” I folded my hands in my lap, but didn’t turn around.
“Sure.” He moved from behind me and sat on the bench. “If life was perfect, how in the hell would we ever learn to depend on someone other than ourselves? If anything, that’s what life’s taught me. The need to be perfect is stemmed in the very belief that it’s actually something we can achieve. Self-actualization — doesn’t exist.”
I licked my lips and looked down at the keys. “Does that mean we don’t try then?”
“No.” Gabe tickled a few of the ivory keys in front of him, the music note tattoos on his fingertips looking darker against the white of the piano. “It just means when you reach the end of your rope, you shouldn’t regret a damn thing, but applaud yourself for trying to do the impossible.”
I felt like he was using double meanings. The philosophical Gabe was a bit terrifying because he made me feel more insecure than the jackass Gabe. But the guy sitting next to me right now? I was beginning to understand, he wasn’t just one person. He was every person, everything, whatever he needed to be, he was.
Like a chameleon.
And suddenly the ending to the story made sense.
Ten different notes all clamoring at once.
Chaos.
Gabe was Chaos.
“So.” He sniffed and cleared his throat. “Now that I’ve totally ruined the moment by talking in my serious voice and scaring the shit out of you — why don’t we work on one of your performance pieces?”
“Okay.” I placed my hands on the piano again, careful to angle my wrists at the perfect degree and keep my eyes on the music ahead. Sometimes I wondered if my posture was better than my playing.
“What the hell are you doing?” he asked in calm voice.
I turned and gave him a firm nod. “I’m getting ready.”
“To go to battle?”
“What?” I relaxed my hands a bit. “No.” I straightened. “This is the right posture, it’s—”
“If you say perfect, I’m going to kill myself.”
“Someone should have majored in drama.”
He burst out laughing. “Oh, honey, you have no idea.”
“So?” I lifted my wrists again and looked ahead.
“Fine.” He smirked. “Play just like that.”
“Okay.” I started one of my harder pieces, Piano Sonata 14. It felt exactly the same. The movement wasn’t as fast as some of the others, but the timing for it had to be perfect.
“Close your eyes,” Gabe instructed.
“But—”
He swatted my wrists. “No arguing with your piano master.”
“Fine.”
“Say ‘yes, master’.”
I smiled tightly, my eyes focusing on the music in front of me. I started slowly playing. “Not in this lifetime.”
“Bet I could make you say it.” His voice had an arrogant lift to it, which made me all the more irritated. Master? Um, no.
“Eyes.” He growled again.
With a resigned sigh, I closed my eyes. “Better?”
“Immensely,” he said smoothly.
Darkness enveloped my world. All I had were the notes at my fingertips. All I had was the music — that and Gabe.
He wasn’t saying anything.
Which killed me.
It also made me want to open my eyes, but I knew he’d probably just tell me to close them again, so I kept playing.
And then, with a teasing touch, his fingers grazed my chin, slowly tilting it down toward the piano while his other hand went to my upper back then slowly moved down until it was in the middle, with a gentle push, he urged my body closer to the keys.
Eyes closed, posture completely off, I leaned over the piano. Everything felt wrong as I continued playing.
“Slower,” he said softly.
With a sigh, I started playing slower. His hands moved to my hips. And stayed there. Other than jumping a foot, I was still able to concentrate.
“The music,” he whispered, “It’s not just your story — it’s your lover.”
“Okay,” I squeaked. Heat washed over me as the word lover bounced around in my brain. I knew it, but I’d never experienced it. How was I supposed to use something I didn’t know how to use? And how embarrassing was it that I was stuck in that tiny room having never been… stuck in a tiny room with any guy? Lover. I’d take him. If I got a choice. It would be him. But people like Gabe, beautiful people who had music in their soul, who knew how to speak without words… they weren’t for girls like me.
“Each stroke…” His hands pressed against my hips making me gasp. “You need to feel it not just on your fingertips — but everywhere.”
Holy. Crap.
“Feel it here,” he squeezed and then ran his hands lightly up my sides, then resting right underneath my breasts, he pressed again. “And here.”
My breathing picked up speed, as did my music.
“Slow down,” he commanded in that same irritating patient tone. “Where is this story taking me? Where are you taking your lover?”
“Huh?” I breathed.
“Use your hands to tell me the story — use your body to propel the story forward, what happens next… Tell the story, Saylor. Make me feel it without even touching you.”
“But — that’s impossible.”
“You can feel a kiss without touching someone’s lips.”
“I’m confused.”
“Concentrate.” Gabe’s voice was firm. “I want to kiss you.”
“What?” He was lucky I didn’t actually collapse against the piano this time.
“In the story.” He chuckled. “I want to kiss you in this story, so kiss me.”
“You want me to get up and kiss you?” Mind you, I was still trying to play a difficult piece as he was asking me this, which basically meant I must have had talent, because my body was on fire.
“Without our mouths meeting.”
“Through the music.” I clarified in a doubtful voice.
I could hear the smile in his tone as he answered. “Yes, through the music, show me what the kiss would feel like. I want to taste it.”
“But how?”
He laughed softly. “I’m touching them.”
“What?”
“My lips,” he countered. “They’re soft, open, wet…”
I squirmed on the piano bench, squeezing my eyes shut. “What else?”
“As I part my lips… I wonder what your tongue tastes like, what type of pressure you’d use as you pressed your velvety smooth mouth against mine. I imagine exploring your mouth not just because I want to — but because I can’t help it. I’m lost. And your kiss is my salvation… so, Saylor, will you save me?”
My fingers glided effortlessly over the piano as I imagined his mouth — the way he smiled, the way he took his lower lip hostage when he was deep in thought. The dark look he got in his eyes when there was something he wanted. Our kiss would be epic.
The music picked up speed as I leaned over the piano, pounding each note with the rhythm of my footsteps as I approached him.
His hands would reach for my hips as he pulled me closer. My hands hovered over the keys making my hesitation known.
And then I pressed softly against the ivory, leaning forward as if I was leaning into Gabe with my body pressed against his. My breasts brushed the keys. I moved closer to the piano and then slowed the music.
His eyes would close.
His lips would part.
And we’d meet in the middle — because both of us wanted the same thing. Both of us wanted to taste, to explore, to feel.
I slowed my left hand as my right hand moved quicker across the keys, to show the anticipation.
And then, our mouths would touch.
I pounded the keys with my left hand, making it the loudest part of the piece which wasn’t normally how it was done.
Our tongues would tangle.
I pounded the piano harder.
His fingers would dig into my arms as he lifted me into the air.
I pulled back from the piano, stopping the music, and then gently started the rhythmic cadence again.
Our kiss was the perfect joining of music.
He was the left hand, I was the right.
Separate they sounded like silly scales.
Together — they were beautiful.
When I stopped the piece, I was sweating.
“Open your eyes,” Gabe whispered.
He was breathing so heavily it looked like he’d just run a marathon. With a smile he tucked my fallen hair behind my ear and tilted my chin toward him.
“That…” He leaned in. “…is how you perform. Like every kiss is both your first and last — like you’re saying both hello and goodbye — like you’ve just been born… like you’ve just died.”

Blog Tour: Keep Me Still by Caisey Quinn

Layla Flaherty had the perfect life, or close to it. Until a stranger gunned her parents down right in front of her, leaving her with seizure inducing PTSD. After years of trying to pass as normal and failing miserably, she resigns herself to being invisible. But new to town Landen O’Brien sees her, and he likes what he sees. Much to Layla’s surprise, he doesn’t freak out when she has a seizure in front of him. He does the exact opposite, calming her until the tremors subside. But Landen has secrets of his own. Secrets that both bind them together and tear them apart.

Scarred by loss, Layla leaves her hometown of Hope Springs, Georgia, hoping to put her painful past behind her and start over in college in California. When she runs into Landen at freshmen orientation, she has a choice to make. Reinforce those steel walls she's built up around herself or give the only boy who can keep her still a second chance.

Landen’s more than ready to tear down those walls but this time when they come crashing down, they might bury her.

“Strip.” The command comes out harsher than I mean for it to, but my brave girl grins up at me. Her slender arms cross in front of her body as she lifts the hem of her shirt up and over her head. Her black lacy bra suggests to me that she wants this, planned for it even before coming to my game.

For a second, I’m back in the stadium, looking up at her as the field lights shine all around my glowing angel. And she gives me that look, the secret one that says I’m the only one who knows what she feels like from the inside, in my mouth, and tight around my dick.

I want to always be the only one.

“Slower,” I command, hoping the damn milkshake doesn’t melt too much.

Layla unbuttons her jeans and raises a brow at me. I nod, because yes, now she’s going slowly enough. Once her jeans are down, she kicks them to the side, and I take in her matching lace panties. Every cell in my body screams at me to hit my knees, pull that tiny scrap of fabric aside, and plunge my tongue into her wetness.

“All of it, baby. I want to see all of you.”

Layla’s cheeks darken, and I keep my eyes on hers as she reaches back to unhook her bra. It falls to the floor, and my eyes fall to her perfectly supple breasts and the tight pink nipples protruding in my direction. Again, my tongue presses behind my teeth, aching to taste her.

“Panties,” I practically growl at her.

My chest heaves hard because I’m running out of willpower here. Her skin begs to be touched, licked, bitten. I have the strangest urge to mark her. Claim her. Eying me with her wary gaze, as if she can read my crazed thoughts, Layla bends at the waist and slides her panties down her thighs, past her knees, and lets them drop to her ankles.

“Lie down. On your back.” She blinks rapidly but does as I say.

My cock punches against the zipper of my jeans, and I’m done waiting. Setting the milkshake down on the night table, I undress quickly, leaving my boxer briefs on so I don’t rush things. Climbing on top of Layla, I take a moment to stare down at her perfect body. Perfect face.

I’m dirtying up my angel and I know it, but dammit, how can I not?

Unlike Lyndsie, I was lucky enough to read Let You Leave, Keep Me Still, and Hold Us Close in one shot. All I can say is that alone, they would be really good, but all together it is a beautiful, emotional story. I wasn’t sure as to how I wanted to write this review, should I break it down by each story or write it as a whole. Each part of this story brings something special, so I think I’ll highlight each one on its own. Each part is a 5 star read for me.

Let You Leave

This is the story of how Landen and Layla met. Because of a tragic event, Layla has been homeschooled since she was 13. For her senior year, she decided to go to school to prepare her, mentally and emotionally, for college. She is making it through by being invisible; no one acknowledges her. Landen is new to school. He moves around a lot because of his father’s job, so he used to it. He is also used to not getting close to anyone. Landen sees Layla and he is intrigued. He needs to know her. He brings her out of her shell by seeing her.

I fell in love with Landen right away. He is sweet, attentive, protective, caring, and loyal, the list could go on and on. On top of everything, he is a bit damaged; my favorite kind of guy. Layla is just learning who she is. Landen teaches her how to start living again.

I felt every single word, every single emotion of this novella. From loneliness, joy, fear, anger, and heartbreak this short book is filled with it all. This is probably the most powerful novella I have ever read.

Keep Me Still

This is the main novel of the series and it picks up where Let You Leave left off. Landen and Layla are now in college. This is also packed with a lot of emotion. Keep in mind that this series is a story about 2 broken people trying to find their way.

They are both plagued with self-doubt. Layla wants to protect Landen from herself, she has a condition that she feels will destroy Landen. In turn, he wants to protect her from…the world. Let me take a moment to sigh…*SIGH* Even though he is damaged, he is all kinds of perfect. Any who, she tries and tries to push him away, but he WILL NOT be pushed aside. He loves her and he works his ass off to show her how they belong together.

The love the two have for each other is so tangible. Everyone can see how they feel just by how they look at each other and react to the other. And O.M.G. does it get hot when they finally give in to all the sexual tension surrounding them.

It is SO hard to write this review without revealing much of the story. I want to shout their beautiful story for all to hear. But, you NEED to read it for yourself to get the full impact.

Hold Us Close

Just when I thought FINALLY they are in a great place, the story gets even more gut wrenching. I think the 1st two stories, while they were about Layla and Landen building a relationship and loving each other, it was more about Layla’s personal growth. She needed to find who she is and how to live, not in the past, but in the present. This to me is Landen’s book. It’s his turn to focus on himself, so that he can live for Layla.

Oh Landen. How my heart breaks for him. We know that he is broken, but in this novella, we find out just how broken he really is. He went through so much as a child and it is finally and totally catching up with him. He has major anger and rage issues. I hurt for him and for the little boy that he was. He is such a good man; he just needs help.

Layla’s growth through the series really shows in this book. It’s time for her to be strong, not only for herself, but she needs to carry Landen this time. It’s her turn to not give up on him and for her to push when he tries to cast her aside. She shows Landen that she will always be here for him and always show him the way when he is lost.

Final Thoughts

I absolutely love these two together. They are perfect for each other. Their relationship is far from perfect, but they are willing to keep polishing and polishing until it shines. Just when they think it is sparkling, they find a smudge (sometimes huge) and it’s back to polishing.

This isn’t an easy romance. This is a story of two very broken people. They seem so far beyond repair, but together, piece by piece, they build each other up and become whole. I loved every moment of this book, even when my heart was breaking. If I had to use one word to describe Landen and Layla’s story it would be…BEAUTIFUL.

I have to say I loved this book from the moment I picked it up. Keep Me Still has everything in it: friendship, love, loss, healing, family and sexiness. I could not put it down. I stayed up until about 2am finishing it. I will tell you I did read Let You Leave and Keep Me Still when they were first published in the special edition so I had a wonderful time re-falling in love with Landen and was antsy until I got to Hold Us Close at the end.

The story is written in dual point of views which I absolutely LOVED. I enjoy knowing what both characters are feeling while I go along. My review will be short only for the reason that I do not want to give ANYTHING away. You need to feel every emotion as you read.

We are first introduced to Layla Faherty who has recently gone back to high school after a traumatic event happened to her when she was thirteen. She is now a senior and is determined to make it through the school year. She knows if she can’t get through this last year in high school there is no way she can handle college by herself. As soon as she’s back in school everyone steers clear of her. She knows what they all think of her and is fine keeping to herself.

Landen O’Brien is in his senior year of high school as well and is being moved to another state AGAIN. His family is constantly moving due to his father’s job. They currently live in Colorado where he has two really good friends that he doesn’t want to leave. Bye Colorado and hello to Hope Springs, Georgia. He starts his new school and the first thing he notices is Layla. Oh Landen, Landen, Landen, I have a big crush on you! The second time around I think I fell harder for him. He’s smart, funny, protective, sexy, loyal and just the right amount of F’d up.

The story takes you through Landen and Layla becoming friends and moving into something more. We follow them through high school into adulthood. Both of them hiding their secrets from each other and you know what happens when secrets are held….they eventually come out and no one will be happy. This book is an emotional roller coaster from page one. I LOVED EVERY FREAKING SECOND OF IT! Reading it the second time around was simply amazing. I felt the same emotions as when I did the first time. Your heart will break; it will heal, be filled with love, break again and be squeezed tight. Once you make it to the end you will sit there saying WOW.

I did fall in love with two secondary characters. Corin aka Ginger, and Skylar. Corin is Layla’s best friend. She is a feisty girl and I absolutely loved her fierceness. Skylar is Landen’s friend/team mate from college. He is a hoot and I loved his banter with Landen. I’m hoping and praying we will get their story at some point. I want it *pouts*. No scratch that… I NEED it *stomps foot*.

Keep Me Still is seriously a beautifully touching story. Pick it up today, you will not be disappointed!
