Angel of Mine Review

If you had the ability to heal with just one touch, the capability to absorb other’s pain by making it your own, would you do it?

The gratifying feeling she gets from helping others intoxicates Ally; the glowing warmth within constantly simmers, incessant on bursting free. Ally was born to do this, but how much more damage can her body take?

Theo finds himself getting close to the girl that continues to inflict pain on herself. When he discovers her secret, his overwhelming concern drives him to do everything in his power to prevent Ally from getting hurt, no matter how lovely her intentions are.

Theo also has secrets and will take any measure to keep them hidden from the girl he is falling in love with. He knows better than to let her get too close. She can never find out the information he conceals because she cannot help him anyway.

Devastating circumstances. Helpless love. Where there's a will, is there actually a way?

Five fantastic stars!!

This is the debut novel by Jessica Louise and I think she did a wonderful job. I could not put this book down! I love everything about this book. It is sweet, caring, funny, and leaves you with the warm fuzzy feeling when you finish it. At the beginning of this book you learn about Ally's special power. Ally's power is unique and it was refreshing to read something out of the norm of "paranormal" that has become so popular.  I really felt for her because she had been so sheltered her entire life. Her mother agrees to let her start living her life outside the walls of their home and Ally takes full advantage of it. She is so fearless and strong and I loved that about it. The new found freedom allows her to cross paths with Theo. Theo is HOT. He is the complete package; athletic, sweet, and most importantly he is sexy as sin! Theo is not without his own secret though and I couldn't read fast enough to find out what it was. The relationship between Theo and Ally was so genuine. I swooned over some of the things Theo said to Ally.

"I’m angry with myself, not you. How could I ever be angry at you? You are fearless. The way you help anyone who needs it without a second thought for your own safety is inspiring. You make me want to be a better man. You, Ally Chambers, are one hell of a woman, and I will try my damnedest each and every day to be worthy of you.” -Theo

There are a couple twists in this story that kept me wanting to read faster. I had to know what was going to happen and there was no way I was putting my Nook down until I found out! Everyone needs to go one-click this book so they can enjoy it as much as I did!!
