The Gentleman Mentor by Kendall Ryan is a provocative alluring read laced with twists and drama that will keep you glued to your e-reader. This book was another amazing read from one of my favorite authors.

Brie is looking for confidence and that extra swagger in order to catch the eye of her a guy who has been in the friend zone for years. Our heroine has experience in the bedroom and with dating, but is still self conscious and somewhat of a wallflower. With the help of The Gentleman Mentor, Brie hopes to break out of her shell and make a connection with her longtime crush.

Hale has schooled countless women in the art of seduction and being the successful hunter in a wilderness full of men. In all his sessions and clients, nothing could have prepared him for Brie. Something about her sparks a piece of Hale that he buried so long ago. He's determined to take advantage of their time together before setting her free into the dating world. Although the deeper he delves in his teachings the more he realizes he's in over his head and it's Brie who is schooling him.

I liked this story from start to finish. I've read plenty of novels where a woman, in a moment of desperation, hires a man to help her accomplish something (be her fake date/boyfriend, date her friend, etc.), but nothing as unique as this storyline. The BDSM element in the book is light and will appeal to a wide variety of readers. The connection between Hale and Brie is electric and their passion ignites the pages.

I finished this book both satisfied and bummed their story was over. I am definitely looking forward to the other stories in this series, and recommend everyone take a chance on this sexy stand alone!
