Deputy United States Marshal Mitch Knox apprehends fugitives for a living. His calm, cool, collected attitude and devastatingly handsome good looks earn him a well-deserved bad boy reputation, both in the field and out. While away on an assignment, he blows off some steam at a notorious Dallas nightclub. Solving the case that has plagued him for months takes a sudden backseat to finding out all there is to know about the gorgeous, shy blond sitting alone at the bar.
Texas State Trooper Cody Turner is moving up the ranks, well on his way to his dream of being a Texas Ranger. While on a two-week mandatory vacation, he plans to relax and help out on his family’s farm. Mitch is the last distraction Cody needs, but the tatted up temptation that walks into the bar and steals his baseball cap is too hard to ignore.
As Mitch’s case gains nationwide attention, how will he convince the sexy state trooper that giving him a chance won’t jeopardize his life’s plan...especially when the evil he’s tracking brings the hate directly to his doorstep, threatening more than just their careers.
I have so much that I can say about this book that I don't know where I should start. First off, I like to keep an open mind when it comes to reading books. When I was a kid I used to say I would read anything, including the phone book. As I got older my preference's for what I wanted to read changed, but my love for books that make me swarm didn't. I read my first Kindle Alexander book recently and I was hooked. I didn't know how I would handle the m/m storyline, but in the end, I realized that I really didn't care. I just wanted to feel, and let me tell you, you would have to be heartless to not feel anything when you read this book, or any Kindle book as they are filled with heartwarming stories that will leave you yearning for more in the end.
We meet Deputy Marshall Mitch Knox in the first book in this series Double Full when he comes to help the case after Jase's break lines are cut on his car. He is the alpha male that pretty much don't take NO as an answer. He is dedicated to the case and is determined to find out who is behind the crime. While visiting Colt and Jase, he goes to a gay bar where he encounters Texas State Trooper Cody Turner. Cody is in the bar to celebrate (by himself no less) that he was promoted to Mounted Patrol. When Cody and Mitch meet up you can see the fireworks fly. Cody is a bit taked back by the strong Alpha man, and is a bit shy. After a quick make out session in Mitch's car, Mitch is called away and neither one can get them out of their minds.
I like that this book was not only a love story, but also a mystery at the same time. We see how hard Mitch is working on the case and how determined that he is to get the job done. In that same time, he wants Cody, BAD and has to figure out a way to see him. Cody seems like to quiet shy Trooper, but is he really? He want's Mitch just as much and is willing to take a little time from him vacation for a quick trip to Washington to see Mitch- that is where is all changes. Cody and Mitch together are HOT. The sex is this book is crazy sizzling bedroom heat. I love the connection that these two have and you are cheering them on the whole way. I love that there is not crazy drama with these two. I also love that Mitch is not the total Alpha man that you think that he is. He holds doors, cries, and is a little softer then I thought he would be. Don't get me wrong, when he wants something, he is going to do what he can to get it done.
Just when you think that the story is done and over- BAM there is a new plot and we get another story in the series- and that make Becky a very happy girl. I CAN"T WAIT!!!
I will admit that I was nervous about reading M/M books. But then I discovered Kindle Alexander. And she blew my socks off! I am now a HUGE fan of hers and will read her grocery list if she sent it to me. Kindle really knows how to tell a love story. I always fall in love with her characters and Full Disclosure was no different.
We met Mitch in Double Full as the US Marshall that helped Colt and Jace. He was alpha and hot as hell and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on him. In Full Disclosure, Mitch is still investigating the attack on Colt and the links to other attacks on other gay men in the spotlight. Back in Dallas for another case, Mitch lets loose at a popular gay club where he meets Cody.
Cody is a hot ass cowboy State Trooper. He is perfect for Mitch and Mitch is perfect for him. The chemistry with these two is off the charts. The heat between these two made my kindle start to steam.
Oh my goodness, I just loved their relationship. I loved their connection. Their story was a slow build but I loved every second of it!
“I want you like I’ve never wanted anything in my life.” ~~ Mitch
I highly recommend this story to any romance lovers. And even those this is part of a series, you can totally read this book as a standalone. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!!
Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.
