Blog Tour Review- Noah by Jennifer Foor

Being the son of Colton Mitchell isn't what Noah Mitchell wants to be known for. Though he works along side of his father, he feels the strain to go out on his own. Being the next in line to be in control of the family's ranch, he debates on taking his life in a completely different direction.

Leaving town to clear his head he meets Shalan, a beautiful singer that longs for a life in the city.

As sparks fly, his family's dreams for him seemingly go out the window. Will Noah stick around to follow in the footsteps of his famous father, or will love lead him away?

This is Book 1 in the new series, Mitchell- Healy Cousins.
You will still be able to enjoy all of the original characters from the original Mitchell Series.

CAUTION- HIGHLY biased review coming from a proud #FoorWhore!!!

Well hello little Noah Mitchell.
Being all grown up looks MIGHTY fine on you!

“I’m not you, dad. This ain’t my forever.”
Noah Mitchell doesn't want the life that his family has set before him. As Colt Mitchell's eldest, and only son, he is next in line to take over the family's ranch, just like his father did before him - but that's not the life that he wants to lead. Noah wants to have the choice about what he wants to do and he feels that this life is being forced on him.

“Here’s to assholes that hold us back from our dreams.”
Noah's desire to make his own path leads to a blow up between him and Colt and that blow up just happens to take place at Colt and Savanna's, Noah's mom's, 20th anniversary surprise party...YIKES!

Noah leaves the ranch, and his entire family behind, and just hits the road with no clear destination in sight and he just happens to come to a bar for a bite to eat and a drink - or ten - and he finds a little more than he bargained for in the form of a sassy waitress/bartender, Shalan.

After catching her douchebag boyfriend cheating, with her best friend no less, then running his beloved car into a pond --- SHALAN IS A ROCK STAR --- Noah decides to let Shalan tag along with him since she is now wanted by the police.

Shalan is an aspiring singer who has no one in her life that has ever protected her the way Noah does. She starts having feelings for him but she isn't the quick hook up type of girl, so if Noah wants Shalan then he is going to have to use that southern charm to make it happen...or that dirty mouth...you know, whichever.

“It’s takin’ all of my willpower not to take you upstairs right now and fuck the shit out of you, woman. I ain’t even goin’ to lie about it. That right there just made my dick hard.”
Noah and Shalan quickly fall for each other in a short amount of time, but are fighting it and they aren't labeling what they are; they are just friends who are enjoying their time together before one of them has to leave.

When Noah receives a call from his cousin and best friend, Bella, he has no choice but to leave and return home, leaving Shalan...in bed...asleep...with a note.
***Face palm***
Noah you IDIOT!

Noah and Shalan eventually work out their differences but Noah's life is with his family and Shalan's life is following her singing career.

“Darlin’, I can’t get you out of my head.”
Are the feelings the two have for one another really enough or will time and distance keep them rooted at a standstill?

“I may never want to leave.”
“I may never let you.”

Ok...I'm fairly new to the Mitchell Family series.
In all honesty I planned to read Letting Go to strictly know who this Jennifer Foor chick was since I knew she would be at the Chicago Author Event that I was attending in May.
Well that didn't go as planned so I read ALL OF THEM - TEN books in one week.
I was in Mitchell heaven...Ty Mitchell that is.
Then after I finished, she tells me there is a spinoff - ANOTHER TEN BOOKS?!? Yep...I'm a Foor Whore now and proud of it.

There's something so amazing about this family - they fight, they bicker, they argue BUT they love each other, they are there for each other, and if you mess with one then you mess with them all.

It was AMAZING to see everyone again and I can't wait for each and every book.

Isabella is up next and the fact that she was cheated on repeatedly by her boyfriend made me smile...yeah sorry, it reminds me of the asshole Ty used to be and I can't wait for him to find out and all hell to break loose.

So there you have it - 100% biased review, but it's still 100% the truth.
