on by her cheating boyfriend, and the last thing she’s looking for is
love. She hates men.
Cole Brighton couldn’t be happier. He’s a
player of the highest order, there’s not a girl at Whitney Briggs
University that he can’t tag and bag. He loves the ladies.
Roxy’s dream is to own and operate her own bakery one day, but with
no oven in her dorm, and a lucrative baking competition on the horizon,
she agrees to move in with her best friend’s brother, the obnoxious,
womanizing, Cole Brighton.
Between the heavenly scent of baked goods, and Roxy’s perfect body
strutting around the apartment, Cole can’t think straight. So when
Roxy’s ex starts sniffing around again, Cole volunteers to play the part
of her new boy-toy and things get heated both in and out of the
kitchen.
Roxy discovers she might not hate every man on the planet, and Cole
discovers nothing tastes better than Roxy and her late night SUGAR
KISSES.
Roxy is ball of stress and anger.
Cole is all ego and sex.
Their attraction is unstoppable.
And when their bodies collide—it's combustible.

Hello all! First, thank you SO much
Mean Girls Luv Books for hosting me!!!! I’m super, super excited to be here!
1) My first introduction to
your writing was by chance. iBooks recommended Ethereal. At that
point I was very anti e-reader. I kept searching for the paperback and
when I realized I couldn't get it I finally downloaded it. I devoured the
Celestra series after that. I'd curl up each night with my phone and
read. I loved the world and the characters you had created and brought to
life. What made you decide to take the leap from a series like Celestra
to series more contemporary in Someone to Love and 3:AM KISSES?
Addison: Hi Lara! Oh I’m sooo glad
you enjoyed the Celestra series! I secretly live on Paragon. True story.
Although I love young adult, and I’ll probably write in that genre forever, a
lot of my natural inclinations as a writer are a little bit racier than I’d
like for that genre so I thought I’d expand my wings a bit. I really like both
New Adult and Young Adult. They both feel like a second skin to me.
2) One of the things I have
loved about the 3:AM KISSES series so far, isn't just the range of emotion it
makes me feel - and it does make me FEEL it all - but the snark. You push
some major sass and I LOVE IT! Is that your own personality filtering
through or are you inspired by friends and family around you? I often
wonder how much of you is in your characters?
Addison: lol! I have to say that hanging
out with Baya (3:AM Kisses) was a riot. I swear that was all her voice, but I
have a strong tendency to think that way. A lot of her internal dialog is what
runs through my own mind but I swear it would be a rare occasion for me to
verbalize it. And, truthfully, there’s a little of me tucked in each of my main
characters. I think as a growing experience in this thing called life I’ve been
vulnerable in innumerous ways. It’s great therapy for me to hash it out through
my writing. ;)
3) What's next for the 3:AM KISSES
series, will it end with Whiskey Kisses, and can you give any hint as to what
might be new for readers to look out for in other series or new series?
Addison: Sugar Kisses then Whiskey
Kisses is next in the 3:AM line-up but I think I have a soft spot for Annie
(Bryson and Holt’s sister) as well. She’s deaf and my own son has battled
hearing loss his whole life, so I would love to give her a story of her own. I
don’t have a title for this one yet, but I’m looking forward to it. I have a
feeling it will be a sweet story.
As for what’s next on the board, I
have a second book in the Beautiful Oblivion series, Gavin’s story: Beautiful
Illusions. And for my paranormal
romance readers a New Adult series entitled Celestra Forever After. I’m almost
through with that one. The steam factor and age bracket of the characters is
what motivated me to move it up from young adult. Celestra brought in readers
as young as ten so I think for me it felt right to move the new series to
another genre. I also have a secret New Adult series I’m working on that’s more
along the lines of Beautiful Oblivion and takes a step into darker terrain than
any of my other books. Then of course the final book in the Someone to Love
series (Someone For Me) releases July 1st! It’s going to an exciting
year. I can’t wait to share the books with everyone.
Thank you so much for hosting me!
This has been a blast! Feel free to leap over to my facebook author page where
I keep it updated on all the new things in store.

Happy reading!
(Cole’s POV at the apartment)
Roxy
sways her head over her neck as a light moan escapes her. Her eyes are glazed
over with a lustful look that’s just this side of feverish. Her mouth covers
mine, and I don’t fight it. I’m in, and Roxy can have me any way she wants.
We’re all tongues and teeth, heated breaths, and groans for a small
eternity.
Roxy
finally curls into me until we’re spooning right there on the floor.
“I’m
sleeping with you whether you like it or night,” she purrs.
I
wrap my arm around her because I happen to like it a hell of a lot.
(Roxy’s POV at the apartment feeding Cole
a cupcake)
“Chocolate’s
my favorite.” He takes a bite and freezes. His apple green eyes lay over mine,
and he doesn’t move. Cole doesn’t breathe. He finishes it off in a few quick
bites and a roar gurgles from his throat.
“I
like to call it nothing’s better than sex
with Cole Brighton cake. I bet I could sell them by the dozen just standing
outside sorority row.” There’s a fun fact.
(Roxy’s
POV)
A
quasi-familiar face pops up beside Bryson and flashes a million-watt smile at
us.
“What’s
going on?” The tall, dark, and handsome, buffed out, green-eyed sex God rumbles
the words out. “Hey.” He holds out a hand, and his dimples dig in deep as he
grins at me. “It’s about time I get to see my new roommate.” The red neon from
the Black Bear sign catches his skin and lights up the left side of his face
like a warning. His full lips demand my attention, and, for a moment, the rest
of the room disappears, taking all the noise and dizzying hormones along with
it—it’s only Cole and me standing in a vacuum. It feels safe this way,
comfortable.
