Tara Sivec has done it again! Not that I expected anything less from her. I always know that the minute I get one of Tara's books in my hand that I will love it. I was EXTREMELY excited to get an ARC of this book. I even offered up a kidney for it I wanted it that badly. Luckily Tara let me keep my kidney. Everyone has their go-to author that they stalk and read every single book of theirs the minute it comes out. Tara is mine.
Kennedy O'Brien started Fool Me Once Investigations with her best friends after all three of them were screwed over by men. Kennedy is an Army Veteran who got screwed over by her husband while she was fighting for our country.

Ahh, there is the humor that Tara is so well known for. If you loved her Chocolate Lovers Series then this will not disappoint. There are many more moments like that one that cause you to laugh out loud.
Kennedy's new case is to catch a dog napper that jumped bail; open and shut case, or so she thinks. Enter Griffin Crawford. He is her ex-husband's best friend and a man that she loathes. Griffin is hired by Kennedy's dad to help assist Kennedy in the investigation.
I love Griffin Crawford. He is sweet, and sexy, and funny. He holds his own against the feisty Kennedy O'Brien and I loved every single moment of it. Griffin isn't the man that Kennedy thinks he is and I loved watching him prove that to her.
I can't forget about Kennedy's best friends, Paige and Lorelei. Each have their own quirky personalities and the three of them mesh so well together. I can't wait to read their books.
This book gave me such a happy, enjoyable feeling. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it is short. I didn't realize that until I had the book in my hands but it didn't make me love this book any less. I devoured all 140 pages.

I think the very last sentence of every chapter was my favorite part. It left me with a smile after every single chapter. I can't wait for everyone to read this so they know what I am talking about. This is a MUST READ and I HIGHLY recommend you buying it. Every time this book is purchased a dildo gets new batteries. We don't want any dead dildo's out there do we? I didn't think so.
