musician’s scruffy good looks and less-than-sympathetic ear annoy her at first,
but when she takes him up on his offer to show her around the city, she
discovers that the romance of Paris isn’t just a myth.

The last thing
Mia needs is another doomed love affair, but since she only has a week, she
figures she might as well enjoy La Vie en O with Lucas while she can. But each
day—and night—with him is better than the last, and suddenly her heart is
telling her this is more than a rebound fling.
This was such a great and fun book. There was everything I
love in a book minus the angst.
The book opens up with Mia being dumped one week before the
wedding of the year. She is hiding in her room wishing it was all a bad joke.
She starts cutting the monogram out of the pillow cases!
“FML. That’s what I need to monogram on all this shit.”
Mia is a very list driven woman
to put it mildly and plans out everything including having an outfit itinerary!
Her friends convince her to go to Paris on her honeymoon alone. Reluctantly,
she went. After an awful first day watching lovers kiss and swoon all over each
other, she goes into a bar and meets Lucas.
Lucas is a French American in
Paris visiting his family. He is not Mia’s type at all but she is drawn to him.
Lucas agrees to be her tour guide in the city for one day.
The fun friendship and then relationship
these to form is addicting. I laughed, I cried a little (I seem to do this a
lot in books lately) and I just loved their chemistry. Melanie Harlow knows how
to write a hot sex scene and thank goodness she has a lot in this book.

I was a tad disappointed that we
didn’t get an epilogue and the story just ended but I am really hoping we get
to see Mia and Lucas again. Let the stalking begin looking for updates on more
projects from this author.
